Javier, I think XP-2 works very well for your street work. Nice shots.

.
Thank you. I got lucky at the unfortunate expense of a photo store that closed down.
I was able to buy 40 rolls for $40.00 bucks.

More XP-2 with Spotmatic SP2
The vignetting was caused by using a telephoto hood on the wide lens. Shame really.

Why not simply crop the picture to remove it?

Pepijn, good to see your Rollei again. I especially like the alley.

Nice to see this thread cooking.
Thanks!

Nice shots of the station. Given my recent accident, seeing any broken bike prompts a bit of an "ouch" reflex.

The late Larry "Big Twist" Nolan performing in the Drake University fieldhouse, February 28, 1985. Back then I rolled my own that I bought in bulk from Freestyle; about all I can remember is that this was probably taken with a K1000/50mm/f2 loaded with 400. Technically it's not all that great and I did sharpen the scan a little bit, but for me it's more about the memory. I have 44 shots from the concert and the decline in quality as they progress is probably directly related that evening's beer consumption.

Sunrise over Lake Owen near Cable, Wisconsin, July 26, 2008. I can't remember which Pentax or film I used (although I'm sure I have it written down), and the scan was done by the processing lab.

CVS screwed up the developing or scanning - their machine was down for a few days - so this has some stripes going up and down... Fuji 160S, Program Plus, FA 43

Another 15 minutes of Fame

Kodak just got around to posting my "honorable mention" photo from the Ektar 100 contest to the professional products area on kodak.com. It is part of a slide show on that home page and can be viewed here:
KODAK PROFESSIONAL: Photographers and Labs
in my opinion, they got the colors a little funky on their version of the scan. I like my version better (A Study in Pink | Flickr - Photo Sharing!)
