Congrats Steve! You said their version of the scan, did you send them a file or did you have to send them the negative? Just curious.

Kodak just got around to posting my "honorable mention" photo from the Ektar 100 contest to the professional products area on kodak.com. It is part of a slide show on that home page and can be viewed here:
KODAK PROFESSIONAL: Photographers and Labs
in my opinion, they got the colors a little funky on their version of the scan. I like my version better (A Study in Pink | Flickr - Photo Sharing!)

I had to send them the negative so that they could confirm that it was actually a film image using their product. They did a high res scan and sent the negative back to me.

It would be nice if they sent their high res scan to you as well - then you'd have an absolute Kodak standard

That's a good point. Sometimes I don't really know what to make Ektar look like after it comes out of the scanner

I took these this past Sunday at my daughters baby shower. I will be a grandpa for the second time and I am so looking forward to it. I am happy to be alive to see two grand kids
So these are family and friends.
I used two cams. A Spotmatic SP2 with 35mm Super tak and an ME SUPER with a SAKIR 135F/2.8 that I shot wide open. Film used was Ilford XP-2 and scanned with HP4050

My eldest daughter with baby in the oven

My grandson Adam

My daughter Claire on the right

My daughter Elizabeth in the middle

My son in LAW on the right.
