Have been experimenting with newly-acquired 100-foot reel of Arista Premium 400 (the film shows "K'dak 400TX" on the edge - so it is clearly Tri-X), development in Rodinal (Adonal). It's nice to be able to load a short roll for a small project, or longer roll if I want. I'm starting to get my process worked out. Nothing fancy here, but am now getting clean negatives to scan.

Taken with Pentax K1000, Super-Macro-Takumar 50mm f4, Tri-X at ISO400, Rodinal 1+100 1-hour stand development, scan with Epson V500.

Those are pretty impressive results. I suppose I should try the Arista Premium 400 now that Legacy Pro 400 appears to be a thing of the past.

@Swift1 - There's a tiny little repair shop down the street from me that only works on older Japanese cars. Every now and then he has something interesting parked on the lot. The little white compact in the background with "Kiyo's" on the back window is the shop's rally car.

Steve,

The price is right - about $35 from Freestyle Photo (plus shipping) - not bad for Kodak Tri-X.

Thanks everyone. I've developed 9 of the close to 60 rolls I shot on the trip, so I should have plenty more to post when I have the time/funds to get the rest developed.

Will look forward to seeing of your shots!

It was over 14 days. I drove about 6000 miles in a meandering manner from Chicago to California so there was plenty to take pictures of. I had primarily planned it as a photo taking trip although the main goal was a move across the country.

K28/2.0

The week-end before I took out the K-28/2 - one very sweat lens.
All images with LX, K28/2, APX100 developed in Rodinal Spezial a.k.a Studional

Between these two I cannot decide:

1)with people

2) without

Cheers,

Luc

Lomo (expired Agfa?) cross-processed

It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, but as I'm quite pleased with how turned up my last developped roll. I post one here.

This isn't photoshopped, just the first one of the roll ^_^ The only correction I applied was to correct a hudge green cast on the pictures.

Shot with Pentax Superprogram and 31ltd. Iso 200, Lomo film (expired Agfa?) X-processed.
