Bought myself a new toy last week..... a Kiev 4A rangefinder with the Jupiter 53mm F/2 lens. Its a lot of hard work using it, what with metering using a handheld meter, not to mention holding and focusing the camera while trying not to block any of the rangefinder windows. I developed my first roll (Hp5+ in D-76) and discovered that the frames were not spaced correctly. Apparently this is a common problem and I might be able adjust this.
But.............. for all the problems, it takes some great images. The lens seems really sharp and despite not having used a rangefinder before, I didn't have any problems focusing it. All this for 24 UK pounds (about $38) Here are a few shots..
