Another one from my trip to NZ in 2002.
Pretty happy with how this one scanned - colours are pretty much as I remember them.

fearview, beautiful bridge and water.

Jussi, some great shots. I love the colors in the costume photo and the reflections in the balloons are excellent.

Javier, I really like those. I love shooting in churches but the light is usually so challenging...you dealt with that great though.

MattC - wow, those greens and blues are gorgeous. Nice depth....

Here's one from this weekend of my little Easter Bunny and her friend. She just turned 4 months old last week.

Spotmatic II, SMC Takumar 55/1.8, Fujifilm 200 (Wal-Mart), Costco develop/scan.

May 2nd, 2011 is the 25th anniversary of the opening of Expo 86 in Vancouver. So I thought I’d post some shots I took back then to mark the occasion!

Hell Phil, looking at your profile photo, you don't look old enough to have been holding a camera in 1986

(apolgies if the photo is of someone else)

Thanks, yes my avatar is a picture of me but it’s from back in 1970/71 when I was around 13 or so.

I actually had a camera back then but it was a Kodak Instamatic, no Pentax until 1975.

Phil.

Thanks!

Part of the reason I use film is for a permanent record of my kids - cute kid!

Thanks, Matt. I usually take kid photos with the digital because it takes so many shots to get a good one, but I'm vowing to break out the film camera more often.

Phil, awesome Expo photos. I can't believe it's been that long.... I really like the meadow of flowers, too. Gorgeous light.

Jussi, beautiful snow shot. The vignetting is cool.

My first set of film... Kodak BW400CN, because true B+W is not available where I live.
