Bummed because the first roll through the Yashica 44 turned out poorly. Fortunately the XA came through!

I was scanning some images from Venice and accidentally scanned this BW Rollei Retro neg as a colour neg. I quite liked the result though! Taken using a Pentax LX, not sure of the lens, possibly my M28/3.5?

Great looking shot. I'm off to Venice next week and I was wondering what film to take with me. I'm planning to take a couple of rolls of TMY and perhaps some Neopan 1600 (for evenings) but after seeing that shot I might have to get some of my Rollei Retro 100 out of the freezer.

Really nice stuff there. Look forward to seeing the XP2 stuff. I reckon you should get hold of some Tri-x 400 as its really suited to street photography.

Love tri-x 400. It was I shot most of 2009 and just yesterday picked up 5 rolls of it.

bruspeed, I love the tree - cherry? Beautiful.

Kris, I agree on the unintended toning - it suits the photo very well and it's lovely.

I finally developed the roll I'd shot a while ago. I had issues getting it on the reel and apparently I had some issues with the film advancing - one double exposure and a blank spot, and some half-images. Hm. Also, I'm not sure I'm fond of developing my own film yet, but it's only roll #2 so hopefully my skills will improve.

(All Spotmatic SPII, SMC Tak 35/3.5, Kodak Tri-X 400, HC-110)

I actually liked the double exposure here (which was completely unintentional)

and this was the only other one I liked from the roll (more for the subject matter than the photo, which is not that great) - my daughters:

Fairly certain these are all shot with my SuperProgram and A50/1.7. The skateboarding photo might be on your next Jones soda bottle.

Kerry, that photo of your daughters is great. They have the same expression on their faces. Priceless.
