Sorry to hear about this Javier. I'm glad the outcome wasn't worse, but it's never fun to be a victim of loss.

Major bummer. The guy was probably about 3 blocks away before he realized that it was not a digital and worth less than $25 at pawn. I wish you the best of luck finding the camera in the pawn shops and even more luck convincing the shop owner that the camera is yours! Try Craigslist too.

This past Saturday, I went shooting in MacArthur Park / Westlake district. It is one of the highest crime infested areas in L.A. My wife hates me going out there as Cameras are the enemy and few if any are ever seen.
As luck would have it, I had just put down my ME SUPER with a Tokina 28mm lens on a bench while I sat down to rest and some guy that ran like a Gazel came by and snatched it up. It was less than 5 seconds and it was gone just like that.. I had already shot two rolls of Ilford XP-2 and was on my third. Anyway, it is a very difficult place to shoot at but ended up with a few decent pictures. Here are two of the ones I liked. Thanks for looking.
I'm sorry to hear that Javier. I applaud you for going out and shooting in the places you do.

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe you can find it again, but at least you have a couple spare ME Supers.

Thanks Guys for the support. The truth of the matter is that I was over it as soon as I got back to my truck and pulled out another SLR. The only SLR I would have been truly upset about loosing would be my Spotmatic SP2, because I have a perfectly mint one with a mint 35mm Super tak on it. Aside from that, I am good.

I went for a walk in the park with my family on the weekend and since I just got a SPII back from having Eric CLA it, I put a roll of Fujicolor 200 in it and brought along.
For some reason this roll of film was way dustier than usual and it seemed like a hopeless task to clone out all the spots so after 1 shot I gave up.

And because I can't seem to upload more than two photos at a time without "timeout," I have to go for the double post. Same setup as above.

And to Swift1 , beautiful shots, great film choice for the series, they have amazing color, and look like they tell a story. I especially like #5.

+1, damn nice work with the SPII and MV... Colton, what's your work flow with the dust problem? If I'm scanning the color film myself I vacillate between using digital ICE which can be good but on some days seems to blur things a bit, and scanning straight and getting into the zen mind with the spotting... and yes, film does seem to sometimes pick up much more dust than other times, a great mystery that.
