Pentax Super A, Ricoh P 50 f1.7, Kodak BW400CN
Like the first one for its location and the deep blacks of the BW400CN.

Lovely and sharp Colton! Nice flowers and good colours.

Thanks Jason. I love this film.

Oh, a hot rodded VW Beetle!
Ferrania 100, Yashica TL Electro-X, DSM 50/1.7

Thanks Jussi, sweet shot of the VW.

Somebody recently gave me a Minolta Maxxum 70-210mm f/4-5.6 zoom, so I pulled out my dad's old Alpha 303si Super that I have been holding onto even after I sold all my other Maxxum/Alpha gear.

Minolta Alpha 303si Super, Maxxum 70-210/4-5.6, Fujicolor 200

Processed a roll of Legacy Pro 400 yesterday and went to scan today...NOT!!! The "curl beast" attacks again. The curl is so bad (both directions) that the V700 film holders pop up and will not stay shut. Some time under several books and maybe I can do something with them. Perhaps by tomorrow I will have something to share?

Steve

(...wishing the Nikon 5000 ED was working since it manages the curlies a little better...)
Steve,

I shoot Arista Premium 400 (Kodak Tri-X), and find that if I try to scan an hour or two after I develop it, it's dry enough but too curly. I find that if I just leave it hanging for a day, it flattens out enough that it goes in my Epson V500 film holder well enough. However, I really would like to get the ANR glass inserts and do it right. I checked with some local picture-frame stores, and they did not even know what ANR glass was, so I struck out trying to get some cheap alternative.

Here is a picture of my granddaughter watching her cousins play a soccer game. She looks comfortable!

Pentax MX, Sigma Zoom-KII 70-210mm f4.5 lens + Y2 yellow filter,
Kodak Tri-X B&W @ ISO800, Rodinal,
standard agitation, 20 minutes, 1+100 dilution,
Epson V500 scanner.

I will likely try the Arista/Tri-X solution when I run out of the Legacy Pro 400. The film had hung overnight, but the humidity has been shifting wildly over the last few days as storm fronts alternate with drier weather. That may have contributed to the curl. I am hoping that with some coercion from the books, things will even out.

BTW...your Arista/Tri-X shot looks pretty decent, especially considering the mild push with Rodinal. The grain is very workable.

Thank you. I went in to the local Walgreens about a year ago and noticed their store brand Professional Studio 35 200 film on the shelf had just expired. I asked for a discount and they sold me three boxes at half price.

Here's another one from the same roll with the FA 43:

An oldie -- 1983. Tri-X, one of the Spottys and 85mm 1.8 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar. I sold this lens in 1991, when I was usure how much life the screw mount gear had left and usable old bodies were getting scarce. I got it back a couple of years ago. Sadly, it looked like it hadn't seen daylight since I parted with it.

It's the top of a one and a half story building wedged in between older three or four story buildings in the arts district of downtown Richmond. The building beside - behind had a staggered roofline and the wall is in shadow. The white structure at the time was Commonwealth stationary and is now the Quirk gallery.
