Gotta get me some more of that Ferrania. I truly do like it, despite the grain!

Hi everyone, haven't posted in this thread for some time but have been viewing it regularly.
Must say, the quality of photos has stayed very consistently good.
Special mention to Colton's Ferrania shots and some of Javier's street shots from a page or 2 back, great work.

I don't know if anyone will remember (Jussi?); but a while back I mentioned that I had been playing with my Grandmothers 1930s folder, a "Kodak Six16 Model C". Finally I have some usable shots from it on 120 film.
I'm finding focusing to be very difficult (guessing distances in feet??) but when it's right the lens does seem to be impressively sharp. Anyway the shots are nothing special, but here you go:

Film is Arista EDU Ultra 100
Someone else's Speed Graphic 4x5

This is a crop, but if you feel like clicking through the full size version is available (2400dpi).

cheers,
Jason

Jason, those are excellent shots from the vintage camera. Distances do become easier and one acquires gonads of steel

@Jason, nice to see you posting some photos here again. If what Nesster says is true, I'm envious of your new "gonads of steel" <g>.

@womble, really liking your BW400CN shots.Perspective on the first one reminds me of M.C. Escher <g>. I used to shoot more of it when Walmart carried 3 packs of the stuff for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately they don't stock it any more. If I want to shoot it now I have to order on the internet.

Best,
Kevin

Great set Kris.
Kevin took the words right out of my mouth, that first one is very Escher like. I really like the 5th one.

Wow! Those are some of the best Industar-26 shots I have seen. My copy of that lens is almost worthless, but your shots have changed my mind about what the lens is capable of.

Haha thanks Jussi! I will work on those gonads of steel Probably will shoot with the camera again sometime soon.
I like the shot of the Hudson too. One day, maybe I will travel to New York.

Kodak Tri-X 400, Pentacon six TL, Biometar 1:2.8/80... Truly I love the camera, but it's heavy as a brick with a very uncomfortable (very thin) neck strap, so I use it more rarely than I would like.

And the last image I squeezed in the roll, partly unexposed.

This was my first try with the Tri-X and so far I love its grey tones, latitude and grain. Sadly my shots were so so...
