The post on Flickr indicates an exit from film sometime in 2010. The Web site is not currently accessible, but I visited it just last week. The ferraniait.com domain name was renewed last October and will not expire until 2023. Let us hope this is just a technical issue with the Web site. If not, perhaps I should consider stocking up?!

Edit: Just placed an order for 16 more rolls...no since taking chances.../Edit

I recently picked up an MZ-S from a fellow forum member and received it yesterday in the mail. So far, I am really liking it though it definitely is taking some getting used to. The ergonomics are a little different than anything I'm used to.
I shot a quick test roll with it yesterday and had it developed this morning.

Here's a couple, both with the 43/1.9 ltd. and Fujicolor 200

Wow!

I'd want this mounted on the wall if it were mine. Well done!

Colton, congrats on the MZ-S. It's on my "wanted" list. (Not really in a position to do anything about it now and I certainly don't have any time to shoot now if I was). Thanks for the vicarious thrill.

Best,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin.
After I use it more, I'll let you know if it's worth the cost

Was going through some of last years stuff last night and ran across this one that I seemed to have scanned and then forgot about.

Classic Bill, Bill

So I still have 1/2 of my cameras in boxes... and feeling guilty about not shooting enough Pentax I borrowed my daughter's SP1000 with its Super Tak 50/1.4. I will have to send it to Eric as the shutter caps at 1/1000, and the meter stopped working. No matter, film in and dead reckoning exposure... Kodacolor 200:

Chrysler building, easy sunny exposure:

Goat, not easy: 1) this is when I discovered the meter doesn't work 2) variably cloudy early morning light 3) psychologically unprepared. But it came out well regardless.

CVS scans.

I find the psychology of metering fascinating. For me, if there's a meter in the vf, I feel compulsion to use it. So when it is inop, there's anxiety.

Jussi, thanks, love the dark sky and crisp details in that first one. Having an in-camera meter really spoils you, doesn't it?

Like the Chrysler building shot! Who knew there were goats in Manhatten!
