Burned Forest. Liard River, British Columbia ca. 1977. Ektachrome, probably with a Fujica screwmount body (I had several at the time) and Fujinon normal lens.

Yesterday me and a friend set up a little water drop shoot. We were mostly shooting with his K5+Tamron 90/2.8 and an AF360fgz of camera being triggered via wireless. Near the end of the shoot I decided to load my MZ-S with some new Portra 160 and with my DFA 100/2.8 and his AF360fgz still set up, I shot the entire roll to see if I could get a few on film. For exposure, I basically used the same settings as the K5 with a few adjustments for different ISO. I used the onboard flash on the MZ-S to trigger the AF360 but I forgot to set the cameras flash to fire only as a controller so I ended up with a double image. Also, the MZ-S seems to max out at 1/60s in wireless mode unless you set it to HS wireless. I did try a few shots using HS wireless but haven't got to scanning them so I'm not sure how it worked.

Here's one of the first shots.

Thanks Phil, wish I had remembered the flash setting, but I think it's cool anyways.

This is gorgeous. If you feel like you want a quicker capture (and I hope I'm not just repeating something you already know), you may get what you want by setting your flashes to the minimum power setting, for a quicker burst.

With trepidation I opened the envelope containing my most recently developed shots on my RB67.
It had caused me quite a headache over the past 2 rolls with a light leak that reared its ugly head when I thought I had plugged it.
I decided to bite the bullet and put light seals on all parts that need it, so this was my 1st roll after it.

I'm a happy fella again.

Somehow my shots got lost, so I repost them:

These shots were taken in July 2011 in Hamburg (Germany). Unfortunately I did not jot down any settings or the film (though I'm pretty sure I used the Kodak BW400CN aswell).

Shot with a Pentax SMC-M 50mm f/1,7 attached to a P30n.

Thanks.
Yes, I did know about setting the flash to minimum power for a quicker burst though I think for this I had it set to 1/8th power to get a little more light.

I've run into this same problem in the past. It's why I wish I had more than one flash. I have two triggers, but I have yet to add a second flash to my setup.

Here's another from the same shoot. I think I had the MZ-S set to HS Wireless which seemed to take away the double image effect.

With my recent acquisition of an MX (and today I added an MZ-30), I'll be starting with some Portra 400 I think, and also some Ilford HP5. So I'll be watching this thread from now on , though it might be a while until I post any results.
