Poor abandoned bear, but an excellent photo. That fence is so "Bucharest"...

You really should have seen the scene. We were just walking home, when this teddybear suddenly appears. We only had my SPF with 200 film in it, so I mounted it on the tripod and took a 1s exposure, while the framing was more guessing than anything (turned out OK, just a little crooked). Then we looked around, saw that nobody was watching, so I grabbed a bag from my GF's backpack and threw it over its head. So we sneaked away with the bear in the bag, bottom up

First time tried night shooting.
Color - Minolta X300 Rokkor 50/1.7 Fuji 400
B&W - K1000 Jupiter 85/2 Kodak 400 C41

This one is handheld, so a bit fuzzy.

Haven't managed to shoot any film since August, which has been breaking my heart. In late September, I fell into a Nikon N65 with a Tammy 28-200 f3.8-f5.6 attached from a friend who was ready to part with it. Didn't hold out a lot of hope for the zoom, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. First two shots are from the roll of indeterminate age that was already in the camera when I received it. After I finished it, I ran the obligatory test roll of UltraMax 400 and the camera seems to be working well.

Loving the lens flare on this one; I've always said I'd rather be lucky than good...

Best to all,
Kevin

Nice work Kevin.
I used to shoot with a Minolta Alpha 303si that had a Tammy AF 28-200 zoom attached and in retrospect, it's actually a decent lens.

This is for Jussi

A few more from the N65...

(Eagerly awaiting a roll of slide film I shot with my SuperProgram that should be ready at the end of the week; doesn't feel right posting these shots taken with a Nikon as I consider myself a die-hard Pentaxian).

Best,
Kevin

Colton, sorry I missed your post as I was finishing up cherry-picking the N65 shots to share. Yeah, that's my impression, too - it's a pretty decent lens. (Cat shot above is great, BTW - texture in the fur, wood, and stone is super, and the cute-factor is off-the-hook). Roll of slide film I'm waiting on is the first of the Provia you sent.

Best,
Kevin

Good work with the J-9 on your K1000. I have used my J-9 on my film cameras and found that the results are definitely worth the weight and bulk.
