This was taken with the K2 and M150 using Fuji (Superia?) 200. Processed and scanned at Dwayne's, then cropped.

Capturing the moment...

Here are a few from the archives! I have started working my way through the thousands of slides that have been languishing in a box for I-don't-know-how-long. Here are a few from 1986...

Royal Basin I

Royal Basin II

Sunset over the Strait of Juan de Fuca

Sunset over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, II

All Kodachrome 64 taken with my Ricoh XR7 and who know what lenses! Actually, I think that #1 and #2 were taken with the Pentax-M 50/1.7. #3 I think was taken with the Tamron 70-150 (20A) with Tamron 2x teleconverter (01F). #4 was with the Tamron 28/2.5 (02B).

Real treasures there. With some old slides, one cannot go back and take them again. I go back to Kodachrome 10 in 1961 with mine.

Nice shots Steve

I just finished sorting my old negatives from the 80’s and 90’s that were in still in the plastic holders from the lab. Everything is now in “Print File” archival sheets. Next project is my 60+ Kodak Carousel trays, I found an archival storage system that takes up way less room and I’m transferring all of the slides to that system.

Organizing is a good time to go over your old shots and reminisce.

A few scenic shots taken in Lanzarote with a P30N on Kodak Pro Image film. I'm disappointed in the film, to say the least. It's far worse than anything I've tried so far.

I agree Steve. That last one is superb!
BTW, I was up in your area last weekend and I stopped by Blue Moon. I love that place. I could spend hours looking at all the sweet gear they have.

Great portrait Hermawan!
Are you doing your own scanning? This one and the last ones you've posted have a pretty strong blue/cyan color cast.

On my Epson V500. Portra 160 and Fuji Pro 160NS came out with much better colours. Only a very few of the shots came out without a nasty colour cast. While I suspect this is partially down to the scanner software, if it works better with some films then it must be partly down to either the film or the exposure. I can't believe that 90% of the shots had an exposure so bad as to generate the casts. Previous films run through that camera have been fine.

I had forgotten about this image until a day or two ago. Taken with an ME Super and an M 20/4 (slight crop because my hand ended up in the shot as I shaded the front element). Other than the crop, the pic is SOOC. Film was Acros.

A couple shots around the 2010 Olympic Village and 1986 Expo site in Vancouver.

Pentax 67 & 75/2.8 (Skylight Filter) shooting Fuji Provia 400X. Lab processing & medium resolution scans.
