The Etruscan Gate - built in the 5th Century BC - is still in use today. It is very difficult to describe what it feels like to walk in the footsteps, under the watchful eye of the three eroding Etruscan gods, of so many others who, over the past 2400 years, entered the walled city of Volterra before me, so I hope this photo will convey a small sense of it in its thousand words.

These were taken on Lanzarote a few months ago, in the village of El Golfo. A beautiful, peaceful little place where we had lunch outside, looking out over the atlantic. P30, Kodak Pro Image 100.

Mighty range in colours! The archway on the previous page is very nice too. There are a couple of us on the "Single In" challenge who have started shooting film - for various reasons. It slows down the posting and commenting that we do but there has been some nice results.

I shot the month of December with M28/3.5 on Kodak Ultramax 400.

This is one of my favorites of the month (ME Super is nice and small to stuff in a coat pocket)

Almost the same shot as last time, this time with color film and different day.
I'm not sure how I feel about this camera yet, I feel like I'm having to do a lot of processing to get even close to decent IQ.
I haven't tried good, fresh film yet though.

So...what is an "Aero X"??

Really liked seeing the Sonnet in the background. It has been decades since I have seen one on the road or otherwise. Not many were sold here in the USA and few have survived.
