Beautiful. Sooner or later I have to go for 67.
In the meantime I'm still happy with my mini Pentax.

Tokina 17/3.5, K 35/2, M 50/1.4, M100/4, M 135/3.5 + M 200/4

KJon: Portra 400 is my favorite for flash!
I tried some Kodak 200 Gold the other night, it works but not as well as the 400. But at 1.60 a roll you can shoot your heart away with the gold.
Below shot with Gold.

Montman, thanks for the tip on Kodak Gold 200. If I haven't done so already, I've been meaning to tip my hat to you for adding film to your wedding arsenal; you're waaay braver than I am. I enjoy your film posts a lot. If I'm shooting for others or on someone's dime, I'm shooting digital. Largely because I don't yet trust my photographic kung fu on film. (Yeah, I know - people shot everything on film back in the day, but I'm still blown away when I get a roll of film processed and the results come back with exactly what I was expecting. You'd think after three years I'd start to trust myself. Says more about me than about film, I guess). Keep those wedding shots coming - love 'em and look forward to them.

Best,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin! My wife shoots weddings with me and she rocks. This gives me a little freedom to shoot with film. I am also awaiting for my film kung fu to kick in. KJon, I always enjoy your post, people, landscape, it's great to see a variety in what you do.
Cheers,
Trevor

Finished up the roll of Portra shooting candids at a friend's 50th birthday party. Realize these shots won't be of much interest to anybody outside of those at the party, but I'm sharing a couple because I'm tickled with how well the exposures turned out. I've been feeling my way along the edges of using flash, both on digital and film, and it looks like I'm starting to get the hang of it...ZX-5n's TTL doesn't hurt either...

ZX-5n, FA50 f1.4, Metz 58, Portra 400
Best to all,
Kevin
Great job with indoor flash. Very nice candids!

I missed this shot, very nice! Looks like a good lens, much better than the older 67 300/4.

Breathtaking landscapes, Steve! Must give you a very real sense of satisfaction having that calibre of shots in your archive. Wow. Thanks for sharing the wealth.

Best,
Kevin

Hot Dang! Thank for the strokes everyone! I have to admit, though, that the largest part of getting these pictures was simply having the camera and being there.
