Here is a tiff I scanned off a Mamiya RZ 67 Pro II with some Pro 400H.

I normally would not scan that high res, but just testing it out.
Very nice! I've found Fuji Pro worthy of high res scans.

I was really surprised, I thought it would be more grainy.

It's been a while since I posted. I took a look back at some shots from late fall using the K1000 and M50/2.0, loaded with Fuji Superia 400.

And a few more from the same time frame, using the K2 and M100/2.8 with Fuji 200...

@Dembol, way to make an entrance. I'll look forward to more of your posts.

@Colton and hollywoodfred - man, medium format even makes Superia 400 look good <g>. I've never had much luck with it in 35mm, but I'm liking what Fred's getting out of it. Maybe it was the lab I was using at the time. (Funny thing is I liked Kodak's consumer films and preferred Fuji's pro films, although now it seems I'm shooting mostly Portra as it's all I can get from my local guy).

Best to all,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I don't know which lab you used, but honestly, my results improved immensely once I switched from the one-hour lab at walmart to a dedicated lab. Looking back at my work over the past year plus, it's easy to identify which lab did the work.

Fred, you may be right. I gave up on Superia 400 prior to finding my current processing wizard. Maybe I should run a roll or two through to see what comes of it. I did shoot a couple rolls of CVS 200 (rebranded Fuji) and had them processed at the aforementioned lab and was pretty pleased with the results.

Best,
Kevin

Nice shot Colton, how is the 300mm for hand holding or did you use a tripod?

Phil.
