I really like the perspective on that first shot.

BTW, I have to apply considerable contrast to get the results you are getting from BW400CN. Is that due to you rating it at ISO50?

Great texture and color! I like Portra 160 in 35mm so I guess I would love it in medium format!

A couple of examples of long time exposures using Kodak Gold 100 and the Pentax LX in aperture priority mode.

17 minutes

This is an initial experiment to see if I can capture the motion of the hands of the watch given the black background. In other frames I can capture the red second hand for exposures less than 30 seconds. In another, I captured the hour hands showing a 2 hour exposure. Apparently I moved it before it was done in my impatience so will have to do that again and maybe longer!

Destin

This was longer than 3 hours because I went to bed and it timed out after that. The boats have motion blur but the water is smooth and buildings are sharp.

Yes, BW400CN is very contrasty at ISO50 but I also increased the contrast in Lightroom, I normally shoot it at ISO200.
You can vary the amount of contrast with ISOs between 50 and 800 but I wouldn't recommend shooting at ISO800, it get's rather grainy...

Here's the unedited shot:

It was shot at f/1.2, the Tomioka's contrast is quite low wide open.

BW400CN can be way too contrasty at ISO50:

Using a far more humble camera than those Medium Formats (Pentax SV with Super Tac. 35/3.5 and Fuji 200. Sunny 16 rule on our local beach at Coolum.

Nice pinhole, Colton.

I'm currently in a moment of film despair, brought on by the D600. I'm sure I'll get over it once I've shot enough with the D600... but at the moment, I'm feeling color film is not worth it, and B&W is... B&W

Portra 400 in a Kodak Medalist.

Wow, I can't believe it. It's beautiful. Did you also take a "hi-res" version of that landscape?

Thanks Jussi.
Well, I would probably take a break from film if I acquired a D600
I really like that Medalist shot.

Thanks.
I have a "hi-res" scan but I took only the pinhole image.
