Thanks! I just got mine, found on ebay for next to nothing, and I am really excited to put it to use. It came with the black and silver "panda" I-61, which seems like a nice lens, and it is in great shape. That image was from a the first test roll that I ran through it, and though its not quite as sharp as I'd hoped, I think it could be due the very windy conditions that morning (maybe a little tripod movement on the dock). Other shots from the roll, even those taken at low F stops were nice and sharp.

Do you also have that lens on your FED 3? If so, what are your thoughts about it?
I have the L/D version of the I-61. So far, I think it is superb. It's very sharp, and very contrasty.
There are many who think that the L/D version is the best of the I-26/I-61 range, but then there are many that think the Panda version is best.
The L/D has 6 aperture blades, while the Panda version has 10 (I think). Apparently the quality control and build quality was better during the Panda years and got quit bad with the later L/D years (FED 5 era).
My L/D was original with my late FED 3 and seems excellent though it could use a cleaning and re-lube .
I'd love to acquire a nice Panda version. I do however, have two Jupiter-8 lenses on their way to me.

Nice photo, so good to see leaves on the ground! They do not last long here, unfortunately. (Maybe they were waiting behind you to 'clean up'...) We are starting to get color here now, have to try to capture it in the next days. Great colors from the Ektar.

Thanks David.
We've been getting a few weeks of gorgeous sunny Fall weather. The leaves on the maples in front of my house are already gone, but many of the Oaks, Ash, Alders, etc.. are in full color. In a week they'll all be bare I'm guessing.
That photo was taken while I was up in Portland on Oct. 12th.

Nice shot swift. Those colors just scream Kodak, in a great way.

Nice one. I just dug up this one from 1977, Pentax MX and Kodachrome.

This was just a play-around shot, just using up the final frame on a roll of expired Kodak Max 400. But I thought it ended up ok!

A pleasing pattern of colours here. Generally I am no fan of narrow focus depth, but here it is fine.

Thanks guys! The finished roll of film sat around for almost a year before I processed it, so I was pleasantly surprised at the results. It also made me appreciate my SMC Tak 55/1.8 a lot more. And to think it was basically the "kit lens" back in the day!

Same up here in Vancouver, unfortunately it’s now raining.

Here are some fall foliage shots from north of the border. (Of course I had to use a “leaf” shutter lens to capture the moment!)

P6x7 & 90/2.8LS shooting Portra 400.
