I'm going to Japan in 5 weeks so I will pick up few pro packs of 120. Even some Yodobashi stores are running out of 35mm 400x in some stores and if Yodobashi is running out...

By the way, I'm not trying to convince you, I'm still trying to find E100G and E100VS in 120, since that's my slide film of choice.
Me too, the Ektachrome line was what I used after Kodachrome bit the dust. When Kodak discontinued all E6 film I did manage to get some E100G in 120, from Adorama. I’ve also used Provia 400X as my faster slide film for the past 5 years or so.

I did send Fuji an email and here is their response:

Dear Philip,

Thank you for contacting FUJIFILM North America Corporation. Please allow us to assist you.

Please note that the only film in the Provia line that is currently in production is Provia 100F. All other Provia films have been discontinued. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We sincerely hope this information has been beneficial to you. If you should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us in the future. It would be our pleasure to assist you again.

Thank you for your interest in FUJIFILM products and services.

Respectfully,

So yes I would say it's official. At least Kodak does a better job of posting imformation when they discontinue something and they are the ones with the financial issues.

Phil.

Bronica SQ-A, Zenzanon S 105mm f/3.5, Kodak Ektar, 645 Back (I'm not a big Ektar fan but with this yellow low winter light it's not bad).

I sold my Zenzanon PS 150mm to get this Zenzanon S 105mm. I like the focal length more for general shooting, it focusses much closer and has nicer bokeh.
From the info around the web apparently this is one of the nicest lenses built for the SQ system and a great portrait lens.
I still have to try it for portraits but I have to agree it's a very nice lens form the little bit that I've used it.

And one turned into b+w in pp

Was: Ferrania Solaris FG Plus 100

I suppose that's the reason for no expiration date?

No, that's just because Lomo is much cooler using expired film

Yeah I have a lot of mouths to feed -> http://www.fototime.com/8401C4DA660D51F/orig.jpg

I have used a few rolls but I first tested a roll as they have been stored in an Atlanta garage all these years -> http://www.fototime.com/06C423C68E76028/orig.jpg

Konica Impressa - ISO50 C41 film, was also pretty impressively grainless and sharp.

Until I bought my K10D in 2007 I very rarely used colour film faster than ISO64 and BW film at 125. I always think of 400 as being a luxury...

I prefer the resolution of fine grain. Unfortunately only 400 seems to be sold. Nothing tops Kodachrome 10 going by the results of slides 50 years old. I prefer 100 myself these days, but it is hard to find in shops.

Indeed, it is !

The first time i used an expired roll (Kodak Gold 100, used @64 iso) i thought the meter of my superA was screwed when i read the speed/aperture proposed by the body Wide aperture, and slow speed for a sunny day in the wood.

I'm so sad to never have used Kodachrome
I wish so hard that one day someone will re-create it !
