Thanks! The 100/4 macro is one of my favorite 6x7 lenses along with the 75/2.8AL. You’ll get lots of great shots with your new 75/2.8!

First attempt at greater than 1:1 magnification with the P6x7 system. This setup gave me 2x magnification: 90/2.8 reversed with Helicoid & #3 extension tubes. (Provia 400X)

Very nice shots of Julie! And the film seems to have kept quite well. I have a lot of trouble with discolouration (mainly the yellow dye) of my Agfachrome slides from the 1980s.

Maybe you had some damp conditions where they were stored ?

No, not as far as I am aware. The Agfachrome CT21 slides seem to have a bad reputation for fading and lack of long-term stability. It is worst with those which were exposed to projection a lot. I'll post one or two examples a little later.

The light in all these is really interesting and beautiful.

First time shooting paid work with the Pentax 75 2.8 AL on my 67. Also first time using Ektar 100 for a paid session. I normally shoot Portra 400 but with it being winter I thought I would go with the Ektar. This lens continues to just blow my mind with it's sharpness...

One of my many faded Agfachrome CT21 slides:

Playing cards, Imilchil, High Atlas mountains, Morocco, 1985
MX, smc Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4, raw scan

Restored colours and contrast

The CT21 slides were very low in saturation but with great colours, and very grainy.

Wonderful lighting here. Please post some of your old work to the thread of "Show your old pictures before 1990"

Thanks Arnold! I was lucky to be able to spend 8 months in Morocco in 1985 and saw a lot of great light there. Scanning and restoring the slides has been an ongoing project for years and is not nearly finished. I'll post some images over there.

yes, very interested to see those CT21 results-- my C T 18 slides do not seem to be affected by age.

I didn't use CT18 back in the day because I didn't like its greens but according to what I read it had less of a problem. Here's another example--a crop from a raw scan--that shows that local effects (scratches or something like that) played a role too:

Some of the slides have small blue spots all over. I have older CT21 slides that have kept better, so it seems that there was a bundle of factors involved: film type, emulsion batch, age, frequency of projection, mechanical/chemical (?) stress and possibly development too.
