Superb portrait, I love the muted tone and softness, and how the disheveled red hair goes with the background

Took the 6x7 & 300/4 (Provia 400X) out last weekend looking for some “urban wildlife" to photograph.
Unfortunately living near the water & downtown limit you to rodents, pigeons, crows or seagulls! This gull was patient enough and let me take my time to do my handheld metering, manual focusing & camera settings.

Actually looks like it's giving you the "Bird" ;-)

Yeah it was making some strange leg movements while I was setting up the shot, maybe it was stretching because of a cramp!

Over the weekend, I tried a new scanning workflow based on a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-9000 ED, Vuescan, and ACR. Is anyone interested in a detailed step-by-step description? It works nicely with colour negs and slides but makes more of a difference with negs as it is more difficult to get the colours right.

Z-1p with smc Pentax-FA 28mm f/2.8 AL on Kodak Elite 100 (EB 100), portrait orientation shot cropped to square

That FA 28mm was a helluva lens!

Very nice photo, great composition, and I'd love to have the Fiat--maybe

wkraus - I don't use a Coolscan or Vuescan, but I'd still be interested in hearing if others are as well. I always struggle with scanning, it is often the bane of my film photography hobby.
