While I'm at it: a landscape shot from the Eastern High Atlas, Morocco, taken in 2005, Z-1P on Kodak E100 GX, possibly with the A 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

Yesterday I gave my Pentax P30n an outing loaded with some 2006 Fuji Sensia 100 slide film I was given by a member of Upminster Camera Club ( about 60 cassettes ! ) -- I tied it out for 'Cross-processing' in some well-used C41 chemicals and the 'negs' had a very heavy Cyan/Green colour cast -- well using Vuescan in my old Epson 1650 flatbed I got some very Red/Orange results -- I have 'corrected' one a bit in 'levels' and the other one I 'posterized' in PhotoShop 7 as an experiment as usually I do NOT do any 'Digital Faking' only what I would do in the darkroom -- here are results, 50mm f1.7 SMC Pentax-M lens

My father sent me his old Minolta XG-M and MD 50 f1.7 lens. I took it out for a test drive with Fuji Superia X-Tra 400. The meter is reasonably accurate (gives consistently one stop faster readings than the K10D, but I deliberately underexpose a stop usually anyway) and the shutter speeds look solid. The aperture ring turns fine but the setting seems to stick a bit, so I set an aperture and then sometimes hear it click a few seconds later.

We've had relentless rain here since mid-December, but at least we had a break one day last week and it snowed (a bit) instead. Here are a couple more with K1000/M24-35mm/Velvia 100F. This last roll has convinced me to put the DSLR away and go film only for the time being.

You home processed those beautiful 645 snow shots? Sir, I bow humbly in your presence. The amount of shadow detail you've retained with Velvia 100F is amazing. I'm finding that shadows clog up into solid black way too easily, but then mine are just cheap lab scans. I'm playing around with Ektar now to try to get a couple more stops of shadow detail with hopefully still decent saturation.
