I shot my first roll of 35mm film ever last Sunday! Went to Kew Gardens in SW London as the weather was amazing. The digital shots can be seen here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/12-post-your-photos/255076-nature-spring-has-sprung.html

But I thought I'd put most of the film shots here. Taken with an MX and 43mm ltd. I was worried about the exposure on some of them as I wasn't sure how good the MX's light meter is. Turns out it's good enough. I am sure the lab did a bit of exposure fiddling though. Generally the scans are OK quality. But I do like the look of Ektar 100. Apart from converting the black and white one I haven't changed the lab scans.

I have been trying some Kodak Ektar 25 about 30 years old I found in my Fridge -- I have taken some in my 1975 Asahi Pentax KX-- I did a first test and gave it 4 minutes in used C41 but negs were a bit weak so I gave second test 5 mins and negs were better -- scanned with a Blue colour cast but I corected in PhotoShop 7 as I would in the darkroom using colour filters in my enlarger.

Hi!
Last week I was on holiday in Sarajevo visiting my grandma and other relatives and I have some photos to share.
Most photos are from Sarajevo but some are from Bihać and some are taken on the road through Bosnia.

Camera is K1000, lenses are A24 2.8 & K135 2.5 and films are Fuji superia 200 & Kodak Portra 160

my grandma (she's 90 years old)

I used to love the old Ektar 125 back in the day, despite its merciless lack of exposure latitude, so I thought I'd give the new-fangled Ektar 100 a try. These are shot with my K1000 and lab scanned.

This is with the M24-35mm

And these two are with the Super Takumar 20mm

Couple shots from my first couple of rolls of color film I've shot. Shot on slightly expired Fuji Pro 400h. first 3 were shot on a pentax-a 50mm f2 and the rest were shot with a pentax-m 28mm f2.8

Hi @danthatch, pardon my ignorance, but who is that bust of? And where are the others taken? Chicago? Just a wild guess...

The bust is of former Senator/House of Representatives member for Washington State Henry "Scoop" Jackson, then the first three pictures are taken in Everett, Washington while the last four are in Seattle.

Awesome colors, especially in that first shot! I have 5 shots left on my first roll of Ektar 100 (Yashica electro 35), now you've made me real excited on what will come out.

Also, long-time inactive forum member. Figured it's time to pick it up again

I've been looking through some old photos... I wasn't in the habit of noting the film used in my filing system so that info is lost...

My Yashica Electro GSN is stuck, so I haven't used it in years... obviously a great lens
