If you were wondering where the savior went after leaving his cave of entombment... apparently he had yard work to attend to.. at least according to this fellow.

Portra 400 / ME Super / S-TAK 50/1.4 at F4.0 if I recall correctly.

Pentax MX M lens and Kodachrome

For some reason I always found your photos to be very magenta. Is it on purpose or is your monitor miscalibrated?

Scanner doesn't always do justice to slides, but I hoped they would be appreciated regardless.

Got it, my guess is kodachromes wouldn't be the easiest slides to scan.

It is if you have a Kodachrome profile in your scanner s/w. My Silverfast has one and Kodachrome are the easiest for me to scan.

Wow, very nice abstract shot! The dark line below really completes the composition. Without it, I guess it wouldn't have been even half as interesting. Nice!

Very cool photograph. I really like 'found' abstractions and this is a good one.

It's a bit of a pain when you don't have "by default" a good rendering by scanning. My scanner don't "know" the new portra, only the 3 old ones. I never have the color right, and it's absolutely annoying. But keep up ! stay motivated ! the goal is really worth it !

it seems

i'll get one, i will. I have to be patient. But it's really worth it. I have some project, that i keep for this camera and it's wonderful 105mm
