Took a trip to the Gulf Coast to get my fill of seafood and sights with the LX and Kodak Portra 800.

This shot took a few minutes. The motion blur because I had to jump up to move the camera/tripod as a car was pulling up the driveway. Popular place for those who like good seafood!

Had to take some obligatory night reflection shots that took a few minutes exposure each all with LX and Kodak Portra 400.

I like this one (and no tattoos as a bonus). Would like to see what different processing looks like on this.

I really like this image. Surface and depth that is just great, and the juxtapositions have a humor that is in so many of your photographs. I like the delicacy of the trees and then the buildings that are so solid, but the same color. The clouds that are the most distant relate to the surface that is right there. The lights and police sign with that logo opposite are also great. So much to like in this. Is that a flattened can at the top? Nice foil to the clouds. This would make a great large print. in my opinion.

Thank you, friend.
That is a flattened can.
I also think it would make a great print.

Z-1p with FA 2.8/28mm AL on Ektachrome E100 SW, "interpreted" for a more interesting colour balance and cropped to 3 to 4 format.

Nice one of the old fence. Must have been last painted when I took this in 1969. Kodak Retinette 1A slide copied with Pentax K5. View towards Vancouver City 1968 from Fraser Street.

Now that I am using Firefox, the BBC code is not working for the image.

Sometimes a little bit of experimentation can produce dividends. That's what happened for me in the following photo. I had an image in my head, but I had no idea if it was going to come out or not, so I did what calculations I knew, and took a chance. I probably bracketed the photos, but if so I have no proof, cuz only this photo survives in my archives. I shot this probably in 1985 or 1986 or so.

The subject was my Canon FTb with FL 35mm f/2.5 attached. I had set it atop my glass-topped coffee table, on which I had laid out a white handkerchief. Beneath the table I located the flash, a Vivitar 285, just eyeballing its exact placement. The photo was taken with a Canon F-1 and Canon FD 50mm f/3.5 macro. Kodachrome 64.

Finally getting around to scanning the few rolls I took this fall. This two was from a roll of Kodak 200 gold.

Looks good, the Canada Packers building on the right used to be on Terminal.

I just got back my first roll of Velvia 50 from the processors yesterday. These were my first slide film shots I've ever made. I think I'm going to like using it!

Shot on my Mamiya RB67 ProS with a Sekor KL180mm lens on Velvia 50.
