Had some APS shots scanned from my trek up the Spiti River and over the Pin Parbati Pass (5320m/17450ft) in 1999 when I was a teenager. Some of them came out OK considering:

A couple from a visit to a motor museum in the lake district UK
taken with my Pentax KX 50mm f1.7 shutter speed 1/30th, film was Agfa Vista 200
the car is a early 1950's Jaguar fitted with a Gardner Diesel engine and was used by one of their sales reps to promote their engines
and the enamel signs picture, I didn't see the old Kodak film dispenser till I saw it today!

Love all this old world stuff. The signs are so direct to the point.

Really nice image. I like the reflections, and how they continue the landscape and echo textures. Lots to like here. Great car, too.

Very nice! The one thing I miss most from my trip to Japan was not getting to see Mt. Fuji. The atmospheric haze was heavy enough to prevent Mt Fuji from being seen from the Tokyo area. Apparently on clear days, it's quite visible from Tokyo. I guess I should have planned a trip up that way when I was there, but it hadn't occurred to me at the time.

Thanks guys! The day we picked to see Mt. Fuji turned out nice and sunny, but there was a fair amount of haze. I used a polarizer for both shots.

Some more from India. Do these look bit dark to you? Used an old laptop for editing...

Brightness looks fine to me.

Here some shots on ORWO PC-7. It's colour positive motion picture stock, expired circa 1996 and meant to be developed using a proprietary & long unavailable ORWO process. Recommended EI is 7, but these were shot at EI 8 and hence are a little dark.

I'm quite impressed at how they turned out, and may grab some more and try shooting at a slightly lower EI.

Pentax K2 & A50/1.4. Developed in Rodinal. (Possibly 1:25 concentration, but the co-worker who did them for me isn't certain.)

They look just about right to me. Very nice shots, by the way. What were you using and what was the film?

I brightened the middle shot Flickr's Aviary...

Trying for the life of me to remember the camera, but I think the film is Fuji Nexia 400 (APS).
