Those are great results. That excellent slide film is just not convenient for me.

I just got these K400 Ultramax back today. No PP, just as they came off the CD.

Gracias senor. I love many films, but am blessed to live about a 10 minute walk from a great small lab, though he sends E6 out to the other great lab in town. Works for me though so I don't have to drive all the way there, plus Bob (owner) is great and has been at the same location here in Seattle since (literally) the year and month of my birth. Heh. More expensive overall, but even so there are times when I look at the finished slides and sometimes wonder why I shoot anything but Provia and Velvia.

Yes good results with the Velvia 100F. I've been shooting Provia 100F since I used up my stock of Sensia 100, so far it looks pretty good. Hopefully Fuji does not discontinue it like they did with the faster Provia 400X, which is my mainstay for my 6x7 cameras.

I'm also lucky to have an E6 Lab within a 5 minute drive.

Taken during the total solar eclipse on August 11, 1999 in southeastern Austria. Z-1p with FA 28mm AL on Kodak E100SW slide film, scanned with Nikon Super Coolscan LS-9000 ED.

I too wish 400x was still around. Have you tried pushing 100F - the results I've seen are really comparable.

Lovely shot. That's a very pretty landscape and quite the storm-cell brewing and building.

This Kiev 4M and Helios-103 continue to utterly tickle me with surprised delight. Here are several received back today from the same roll of Velvia 100F.

Indeed! I have found that the optics and general performance of my Kiev far exceeds expectations. I should probably take mine out for a spin.

BTW...if you like the Helios 103, you will love the Jupiter-12 35/2.8. Using the accessory viewfinder is a bit of a pain, but it is such a sweet lens.

I was just pricing them as I fell asleep last night. lol
It's a little hilariously baffling to me that I now own 4 FSU cameras in the span of not 2 months and for less than the cost of nice used manual Pentax lens.
By the same token, when I take all of them together, or rather if I could SMOOSH them all together into just one camera and 50mm, I'd have a camera I absolutely loved. The Kiev is rather awkward to shoot with to me in terms of body handling, and the rangefinder window placement is the main culprit, but I adore the focusing action (tho the infinity lock irritates me not infrequently). I love the advance and feeling of precision on the FED, but it also feels unbalanced and the RF patch is deceptive at times. The Zorki I just love the overall feel of and the heft and balance is just great in my hands.
So if I could put that all together.... but then, it's fun this way too.

I still have a freezer full of Provia 400x in 135 & 120, so I'm OK for a couple years.

I was given a Lomo Diana F+ for Christmas last year, and I promptly loaded a roll in it, then with all the other cameras I had going, I promptly forgot about the Diana.
Well I finally pulled it out a few days ago and finished the first roll.

A film supply store a block away from where I live may still have some Provia 400X in 120 left. (Fridge kept & expired).

If you are interested I can check on Monday.

Let me know.

Cheers. I'd prefer it frozen at that speed at this point, but certainly interested if it's at all less costly than I find it online lately.

Was lucky enough to pick up a pack this summer just before Fuji Japan announced discontinuation there.

After it arrived and I confirmed it was fresh I went to buy more, only to find all the sellers had raised the price by at least 4x.

From a 3-roll Superia 400 batch shot earlier in the summer on (variously) Spotmatic, Adaptall 24/2.5; Olympus Stylus Epic 35/2.8; and first test roll on my recently-acquired Argus-Cosina STL-1000, Elicar 35/2.8 (YAY: no light leaks!):

OK, here the MIA Spotmatic shots, Adaptall 24/2.5 & SuperTak 50/1.4:
