Nice and clear and sharp results there. Kodak Ultramax has surprised me with good results lately as well. Quite different from results I have previously had from expired/underexposed film which has a lumpy green grain in dark areas..
Thanks Arnold. Yes Provia 100F seems like a good slide film, I have only been using it since May this year when my stock of Fuji Sensia 100 ran out.

+ a generous dollop of USM?
USM doesn't work very well with scans. At f/8 on 35mm with the Skopar the hyperfocal is at 10 feet so the photo is pretty representative of what to expect.

Becky and the Rolleicord seem to have both exited the frame

Great work on the "police line do not cross" shot. All the elements together.

I've posted few shots from either my father or grandfather here, scans of made of their slides in the last year or more. Never posted this one. It's one of my favorites. Thought some of you guys would enjoy it. It's circa 1965, my father on the left and his friend Al on the right with all the foodstuff they were about to pack into Al's jeep before heading out to the WA state coast for a couple weeks of camping. Love the old details... (view it on flickr and you can really zoom into the different products)

Ah ok, so many acronyms, so little time...

Nup, I don't generally bother sharpening scans. That said, flickr often gets a bit silly when it downsizes...
