Nice! I absolutely didn't realize (or at least remember) you had the Color Skopar 35. Now I'm looking forward even more.
This is just marvelous.
Ektar is doing it's "slide thing" here again. Love it. Love the lines.

I've posted few shots from either my father or grandfather here, scans of made of their slides in the last year or more. Never posted this one. It's one of my favorites. Thought some of you guys would enjoy it. It's circa 1965, my father on the left and his friend Al on the right with all the foodstuff they were about to pack into Al's jeep before heading out to the WA state coast for a couple weeks of camping. Love the old details... (view it on flickr and you can really zoom into the different products)

Like the "Jiffy Popcorn"!

When I was given my Bessa R it came with the CV Color-Skopar 35/2.5
Do you have the original version coming? It tiny. I think you'll really like it though.

Yup - the Type C "Classic" in black, LTM version. Figured it looked slightly larger (which I think could be good) and can throw it on the FSU bodies.

Nice! I am curious, has your J-8 been reworked (shimmed) to allow better close and moderate focus on non-FSU cameras? Both of mine show about 10cm backfocus at 2 meters.

10cm backfocus?

I never shimmed any of my SU lenses and they all work fine with all my cameras...am I lucky?

Es. this is a close range (about 1.5mt) shot with my Zorki 4K and black Jupiter 8, wide open:

This was shot using a different 70s era black J-8, ad actually I just guessed focus on that shot and so I really have no idea how accurate the focusing is.

I took this photo earlier today, ad it's nearly my favorite photo I've ever taken.
My friend John owns a small car dealership along with his wife and twin brother. Th dealership office is a very small, basically 3 room building. John and his brother Bob have the end offices, ad John's wife has the middle room, which serves as the entrance/reception area. The front door is right in the center of the room, and then the doorways to the endrooms are directly right and left from there.
Awhile ago, I noticed that if you're in just the right spot, right in the front doorway, you can just see both John and Bob working at their desks. I had the idea to try and get a photo of all three in a single image.
Today I was down there and had the Widelux with (with one frame left in the camera) and so I decided to try the photo.

I shot this without using a viewfinder (or a meter), handheld at 1/15s and f/11. This is basically the entire frame, no cropping or rotating.
