Strolling around my yard. Canon T90, FD 55mm f/1.2 SSC. Kodak Plus-X Pan, ISO 125. Developed in one-year-old D-76.

I used my duplication rig to digitize these photos, which requires manual focus on my part. So any lack of sharpness you see is might be due to my missing focus during the duplication process. I'd have to go back and check the negs to be sure.

Next time, I'll post shots taken with one of my Pentax K-series cameras. Promise. ;-)

Yeah, but they're all digital -- from a dinky old Fuji no less. This isn't the forum for displaying a bunch of digital images.

That's the point, USE some film camera! :P

This is a suggestion for you:

It's the headstock of my Charvel 750XL and in the background there's my Marshall head (bokeh'd of course).

For this shot I think I used the K50mm f1.4 at f2, K2DMD and Neopan 400.

Average metering? The last one is the best (though I'd still say 1/2 stop over). You might get better results with a handheld meter. Another trick is to meter off the back of your hand, assuming skin tones are similar. Or bracket.
Handheld meters and bracketing? You must have me confused with someone far more serious (and less reliant on serendipity) than I am!

(full disclosure: I do sometimes use a light meter app when shooting my light meter-less Rolleiflex)

Three cheers and a hallelujah for serendipity. I've actually been carrying my recently repaired meter a bit... usually just for peace of mind - it's also just a good feeling when I confirm an exposure guess with it as well.
Your results *look* serious.

Nice. I recognize that second shot location - was that taken on SW Finger Street?

Damn, that was an amazing finger. Is it out of focus?

A couple from my Minolta Hi-Matic AF2

---------- Post added 11-17-15 at 14:56 ----------

And a few from my Minolta Hi-Matic AF (the older brother of the AF2)

And then there is this one. Also from the Minolta AF. I did some editing. Not sure whether it technically belongs in the film group, as heavily as I did edit it.

Nice photo. I'm wondering what kind of tree that is with the flaking bark... Nice composition with the perspective of the trees and building. That pavement mark almost aligns the first verticals.
