It's an ocarina, that is basically a clay flute. That has three chambers and a range of 2 1/2 octaves...and it's difficult to capture the beauty of the white clay and the smoked finish.

However, last Saturday there was a rallye of historic cars, and my LX made a good use of the 85mm f2 and the 50mm f1.2, high bokeh contents in the next images, beware!

85mm:

I think I used the 50mm f1.2 here:

With the 85mm I also used a polarising filter. Film is fujipro400, my favourite also because I found out a way to get 39 exposures safely with the LX.

How!? I've found I usually get 38 full exposures from my M2...

MX and LX have a "magic needle" film retainer inside, I found out that inserting 3 perforations inside the sprocket, closing the door and advancing the film ONCE I get 39 exposures with Fuji Pro 400. The trick didn't work with XP2, I just got 38 frames, but on the Praktica MLC that has a similar quickload feature I can get 39 frames out of XP.

However, besides this small but important detail I think that globally FujiPro might be considered the best C41 on the market, less saturated than Ektar but with more punch than Portra.

Unfortunately it's getting harder to find.
