I'm trying to find a photo I took where it's visible—because when it is, it really is—but I think I did PP on my scans to eliminate most of it.
Here's one of my unedited scans of the test roll I shot when I got my Jupiter-12.

I haven't used my J12 for a while, but these shots were taken with that lens on a M3:

They look good to me, regarding distortion, in particular barrell distortion, you can check out this pic of the Nikkor 85mm f1.8 "K" (last of the line):

And this one of the K50mm f1.2 that frankly surprised me as I thought it was one of the best 1.2 available:

I was really surprised by how much pincushion distortion both the Jupiter-12 and Jupiter-8 have. I would have expected barrel distortion from the Jupiter-12, and the Jupiter-8 being a 50mm I expected to be relatively neutral.

The Contax Zeiss Planar 35/2 has somewhat noticeable barrel distortion, which makes sense as it's a wide angle Planar. I may be wrong, but I think it's the widest Planar made for 135 format.

This shot shows the barrel distortion of 35/2

Is that the pinhole camera in the picture?

Ektar 100 renders so much detail - It's as good as digital.

I have acquired a 20mm f4 which is in somewhat less than pristine condition. Looks like it still makes good exposures though. K1000 M 20 f4 @ f9.5 1/250

Better overall (IMO, and I am not alone), depending...
