A couple from the water, although in very different places

M2 and Portra400. VM 35mm Color Skopar and 50mm Nokton.

A quick postscript - I think the second shot it probably the first time I really nailed the whole 'expose colour neg for the shadows' thing, makes a lot of difference!

Yes the combination Pancolar + Ektar + warming filter (it was a cloudy and wet day) is definitely over the top,in particular the ultrared is seriously...ultra, the Pentacon 50mm f1.8 is less saturated:

Detail of a window in Mark Mason's hall in London, BX20, Prakticar 50mm f1.8

Also Pentax glass (this is my M85mm f2) with Ektar is slightly less saturated, this was taken the same day:

Still I don't like Ektar for skin colours, while for dogs work great:

They look very good and you're right about that last one - the exposure looks spot-on.

I like that middle one. For some reason it seems significantly sharper than most of your shots - maybe a flatter negative? I need to get my M 85mm out more for use on film.

Here are a few more from my Pentax 145M Super. I tend to use compacts as carry-everywhere cameras to take shots of whatever catches my eye, so the shots from them can be weird snapshots of anything. This is Lomography CN 400 film with it's strong purplish cast.

The first one was taken with my BX20 in low light, so it might look unsharp but I think it's a problem of the lightning conditions. This one was also taken with the same camera:

And it appears in focus, taken into account that was taken at f1.8 but the subject was flat.

The dog was shot with my LX (as the kid dancer) but at f2 and close range, my sensation is that the DOF was so shallow that part of the head is in focus (namely the ear) while the contour wasn't, here there is another shot at F2:

Looks sharp to me...of course focusing at wide aperture with fast lens isn't easy, especially when you are in a hurry, the SA23 is a very good screen for fast lenses, not so much with long zooms.

I think my Pancolar does need some recalibration because I missed quite a few shots at f1.8 and in some cases part of the subject is in focus part is not, for instance the face of the lady in this portrait:

is soft while her silhouette seems in focus to me.

Tied Up taken with Pentax K1000 and Pentax-M 135/3.5 on some off-brand expired ASA 200 film purchased at FPP by Jason Doss, on Flickr

I picked up some better film, but unfortunately all my cameras are now with Eric for repairs, re-repairs, or inspection. This camera was my mom's, and probably sat in a closet since 1985.

I was going to mention this with regard to the photo you posted the other day of the redhead with a K1000 - focus plane seems oddly arranged across the frame...

You should have taken a side view of the Fulvia to show the famous "reversed barchetta" silhouette.

Unfortunately it's a rare car here, the best Lancia I can offer is this underwhelming Beta coupe':

LX, Fujipro400 and I think M82mm f2.

Motor Scooter taken with Pentax K1000 and Pentax-M 135/3.5 on expired film by Jason Doss, on Flickr

Had to remove a lot of yellow in post here. Not sure if it was the film or my inexperience at C-41 development.

Thanks Phil. I was a bit nonplussed when I first looked at the scan but it quickly grew on me, a lot. It really works for this scene I think.
