Many thanks! I had misidentified two of the US fighters but, as an Englishman, got correctly all the British planes and the US Catalina and Mustang.
Thanks again for the info.

Very nice looking R60, Arnold. I didn't know the R60 was still being made in 1977, or is that the date of the photo? I own a couple of airheads -- an R90/6 and an R100RS. I love mine.

Was that photo taken in 1977? I miss Kodachrome.

I love the Harris Tweed wallet!

Regarding identities of the planes:

- A400, Typhoon, Red Arrows, F35, P-51 Mustang: I think I am right.
- But I am struggling with the seaplane (Catalina?), Number"301" (P-47 Thunderbolt?), Parked by the Mustang (is that a Spitfire Mark I? It doesn't have the bubble canopy.
Thank you, the AC 75-200 is SLIGHTLY better as macro, but not so much, it's more a close focus thing and just works at 75mm, so I can't get closer than this:

Still it's a nice bokeh...other two T80 shots:

I confirm LesDMess' kills...ehm identifications.

Other planes:

(minilab chopped the Tornado's nose).

The last one is a seagull which crossed by viewfinder while I was following the B25, I understand both objects are tiny but I kind of liked the composition so I shot. All these were taken with the LX.

These were taken with the Praktica BX20.

These were taken with the BC3.

I wish I had a 300mm and a Yak 50 or 52.

Yes, photo taken in 1977. I traded the R60 for the R100 the next year. Notice spoke wheels are gone in 1978.

My father in 1978 to celebrate my birth decided to buy a new bike, he wanted a four cylinders and had two candidates: the Benelli 500 and the Suzuki GS500.

He was about to buy the Benelli when he noticed it still had spoked wheels, while the Suzuki already had aluminium die cast ones, that looked more modern and he decided to to get it.

Something I discovered with these photos is that the viewfinder is a teeny tiny bit wider than the FOV of the lens. Normally not an issue, as I tend to centre compose more often than not with this camera; but I very carefully framed that second one so that everything was in view and yet...

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/16.
Novar Anastigmat 75mm f6.3.
Fujicolor Pro 400H.

MZ-7, Jupiter 9 (2/85), Portra 100. Hair - Russian Blue who just wouldn't stay off my desk. This is what happens when you scan in the darkness. I guess sort of like a darkroom experience

Cosina CX-1 (favourite compact in the whole wide world), Superia 400. This was a misty morning by a lake in the Peak District, before we went to take a three hour Japanese writing exam in the afternoon!

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a lovely little Olympus XA that I've become enamored with. Sweet 35/2.8 Zuiko lens, genuine (TINY!) rangefinder, in the smallest package imaginable. I even use it for the late-night, waning hour shots at the wedding I photographed last weekend and it was perfect. My mother, back throughout the 80s and early 90s used an XA2 which I remember fondly as does she. Had to pick this thing up - it's even nicer from a photog's point of view. Have only run 2 or 3 rolls through it thus far but it's clear it will become a regular. These were all late night shots on HP5 Plus pushed 1 stop.
