Pentax 645N, 120mm/f4, Fuji Velvia 100, Argentix E6 kit, Hasselblad X1 scan:

Pentax 645NII, 45mm/f2.8, Rollei Crossbird 200, Argentix E6 kit, Hasselblad X1 scan:

I didn't expect to be saying this, but I prefer the Rollei film for colour rendition, but it is much more grainy than the Fuji. Oh, well, I don't expect to do any more E6 after my one remaining roll of Rollei Crossbird.

Looks beautiful! The first photo seems to have a bit of vignetting. Was that intentional?

No, and since it isn't present at the bottom corners I wonder if I had the lens hood on askew.

Nice! I think I have been on that road, was it Highway 20 that has a couple mountain passes?

Yeah the results were not what I had expected, though it's been decades since I shot a fresh roll of legitimate Tungsten film.

It was the road crossing the cascades heading east, but it was so long ago that I would need a map to refresh my memory. It was not unusual for it to be closed in the winter.

Yep that's the one Washington State #20.

I've been on it in June and there still was meters of snow on the sides of the road. Very nice drive in the warmer months....

Local shop has been having Fuji Superia 200 for $3/roll and so I decided, against my better judgement, to dig out the Chaika again. With some stronger rubber bands wrapped around it, the overlapping frames have completely disappeared and the light leaks mostly did so as well.

It didn't even tear the film on rewind this time, though the still lens remains a pain to work with.

MMZ Chaika-II.
Industar-69 28mm f2.8.
Fuji Superia 200.
