It's made by an Italian company, Ferrania, I believe, unless they've changed again.

They have. Ferrania is long defunct and a Kickstarter-led effort to revive it anew has been underway for 2 or 3 years now.
I think the current Lomo 800 is re-badged Superia if i remember right. Not certain though.

I quite like it for many purposes. It's nice and saturated. Not sure if I've tried Superia in a long time but I may pick up a roll or two and compare them.
