Two shots from the Overland Track in Tasmania. These were taken about 2 hours apart, the first in the valley in front and to the left of the second.

LX and Velvia 50

Dsmithhfx, that photo of yours of the three structures one page back -- That is an image I would expect to see next to a dictionary definition of "Juxtaposition." Very nicely done.

Thank you! I shot that last September in Brampton, which has many interesting architectural juxtapositions.

The boughs of an old oak tree that is in the front yard of the house we lived in until 2014. Long time residents of the Monarch Oaks subdivision claim that this is the oldest tree in the neighborhood.

Expired Fujicolor 200, stand developed in a Unicolor kit. I don't recall which camera or lens was used. I duped the negative using my NEX 7 and Micro-Nikkor 55/2.8, processed with Paint Shop Pro X9.

Here's a photo from six or seven years ago, showing the bottom portion of that tree. Oly XA, (expired in 1983!) Kodak Plus-X Pan, developed in D76, duped with my Canon XS and pre-AI Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5

Thanks Steve!
I do wish the tide was there for this shot though.

Thanks Colton!

That said, I'm not certain if my focus is a tiny bit off in the centre or if it's just the lens having difficulty with the light —it's most definitely neither coated nor colour-corrected, so anything's possible.

Very nice! It wasn't quite as snowy when I was there last.
