Been away a long while recently... life. Played a couple months back with the DA* 50-135 on the MZS and quite enjoyed it in spite of the heavy vignetting.

I've had the Rolfix out quite a bit this summer. A fun, tiny, little beast.

First film shots in 17 years - Pentax ME Super - Fuji 200 - 28mm A lens

Here just some shots to see if the camera was working! I shot with an ME in the that I bought new in the 80's. It looks like my last film shots were 17 years ago, until last week. I have a K100D, K01, and K50. I plan on shooting film off and on just for kicks. Oh, I have a Nikon coolscan V ED that I bought to scan in hundreds of slides, that's done. I was actually kind of surprised the old camera still worked!

One more crackin out from the Rolfix. An interesting study in edge sharpness at wider apertures - this was shot around f16 if IIRC. Sharp throughout.
I've another I need to post up that was shot in Yosemite down at f3.5 (wide open for the folder) and has a crazy huge swirly edge section but tack sharp in the center.
I quite love it... the variation that is.

The end of this barn was curious - made that way, repaired, or simply a place to store sheets of corrugated iron?

I don't know how I did it, but I grossly over-exposed it, hence the conversion to B&W.

Is that previous shot out in the Niagara Peninsula? My sister lives south of Grimsby and your shot reminds me of that area.

No, St. Thomas. Haven't seen much of the peninsula except N.F. itself, and that was a few years back. Interesting town, outside of the tourist/casino strip, I mean to go back for another shoot one of these years.

I've been thinking about how to make my motorised Rondinax base be converted so that I can use a Rondinax 60 (for 120 film) on it as well. The first prototype has just emerged from the kitchen table.

The base with Rondinax 35:

The adapter:

The adapter in situ:

And the Rondinax 60 just drops in and engages with the drive cog:

If the Lab-Box from Ars-Imago works out, it would be so easy for them to go on and provide a motorised base for it. I hope this inspires them!

Recently developed a roll of Acros I shot last October, having not had access to my developing kit for the best part of a year. For film that had been sitting for months on a shelf and chemicals that had been left standing for nearly a year (albeit in a cool place) I think it turned out quite well.
Pentax MV1, M100/2.8, Fuji Neopan 100 Acros.

I don't think I have showed my 'test' results from my latest 'Gift' -- a PENTAX SF7 body It was from a kind Gent on The Pentax Forum UK -- I found some outdated 'Lloyds Pharmacy 200 ( AGFA) film in my fridge, never used so loaded a 2006 dated cassette and had to put some paper over the Cassette 'DX Code' so it would default to 100ASA. I processed the film myself in a C41 mix. I took these at Chelmsford in Essex, England at the annual Filipino Festival and along the bank of the River Colne close by.
