I had about 20 minutes to kill waiting for my bus, so I decided to walk a few hundred feet to the train station near by. I didn't notice any camera supplies along that wall. I imagine the camera supplies this little shop sold in the past included film, flash cubes, batteries, and maybe some cheap point-and-shoot cameras.

Acros (or Tri-X, must check), SP, Elicar 35/2.8, lab

Edit: yep, Acros. Pretty well lit for an indoor subject on slowish film.

Nice and contrasty for an indoor shot. Grain is largely unobtrusive.

I've only used Tri-X over the years. I need to branch out and use other emulsions. I have some Ilford HP5 loaded in one of my 35mm cameras right now. I'm curious how it performs.

As others have pointed out, Tri-X has a wicked curly film base, making it less than ideal for flatbed scanners. Other than that it is a very good film.
