Is the above a shot from Toronto's "China Town?" Actually, I see that the nearest sign (Nak Won) is in Korean. So is there a blend? Japanese too?

Yeah it's in one of Toronto's four "Chinatowns" -- the one most known to tourists (on Spadina). There are some Japanese shops around town, don't know specifically in this Chinatown. This was shot on Dundas just east of Spadina.

I bought a mix of 4 rolls of unboxed Kodak Gold 400 & 100. When I had them developed, I forgot to ask for a clip test or say they are probably expired and sent 3 rolls in. What a dope. Here are a few of the more tolerable ones, via a super A and a mix of DA 18-55 WR (from 24mm) and SMC 200 f4.

Kopli Lines, Tallinn in late autumn. Pentax P3, Fuji Neopan Acros 100, Sigma High Speed Wide Angle 28mm, F5.6, 1/125. Scanned by MeinFilmLab. I slightly processed the original TIFF file in DxO Photolab to bring out more details in the foreground.

Great colors. I’m going to have to give Portra another “shot” as a part of my arsenal!

Yeah, you should. I have found Portra to be the closest C-41 type of film to a good slide film, like the Kodak and Fuji emulsions, yet.

I need to work on my color scanning if I'm going to get digital archives of what color I do have. Here is a film you don't see posted here much. A blast from the past Vericolor VHC 6329. And of course the image I liked the most from the bunch has its framing cut short.

Pentax 67, 55/4

You can tell how old it is by the absence of a body covered in tattoos

Or the lack of a butt-floss bikini (as my daughter likes to call them). As for clipping off a bit of your subject, well, isn't that the way it always goes. Ya think ya've nailed the shot, only to find a small niggly.
