The past few weeks have been a bit rough for me so I haven't been around here much.
2 weeks ago, my best friend John died in a tragic accident. Since then, I have been looking through my photos that I took on our many many photo outings. Probably more than half of all my photos taken in the past 5 years were taken while out somewhere with John.
I found this one of John, Java, and I, taken in 2015. If I remember correctly, this was mostly John's idea. I couldn't stop laughing because Java was so upset that we made her sit in the chair. Taken with my Horizon 202 and Kodak Ektar 100.

I am shocked to read that you lost your friend. That is a huge chasm opened in your life. You and the others that cared for him have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

Thank you, Steve. John made a huge positive impact on my life, and for everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
He was also a very fine photographer, and shot primarily with a Rolleiflex and Widelux. Actually, he is responsible for my interest in both the Rolleiflex and Widelux.

I'm very sorry to read that. I know what it's like to suddenly lose a good friend and all I can say is that time will help you smile when you think about him and the good times you had.

Very sorry to hear about your loss.
Hope you'll continue to have fond memories of him through your pictures.
