Hey Colton -- that's a cool looking old Volvo poking out from the shrubbery. An old 144 by the looks of it. Don't hardly see them anymore.

The ship ( at least the stern section anyway) is still around and sails the Great Lakes and the East Coast of Canada as the Radcliffe Latimer. In 2008 it was towed to China where a whole new forebody and engines were put into the old stern section.
While there tied up at Cherry Street the ship became the photogenic backdrop for locally produced TV Dramas and Movies

Like I said the ship makes a perfect backdrop for a picture of the cup. The future of ship, like the cup, at that particular time could well have been to be properly disposed of and recycled.
