Taken a couple of weeks ago - Sears KS-2 + Sears Auto 50mm f/1.7. Ilford FP4 film. Really liking both the camera and film (first time shooting with both).

babywriter, how much have you used your KS-2? Curious how you are finding the light meter and if you're under-exposing many shots as I was/have been with my Ricoh XR-7 (same camera, different badges).

Hike from Biasca, Switzerland up to the Cappana Cava hut for the night. The next day was a gloriously hot day in the mountains so my buddy John decided to burn his Irish hide on the trek back down the mountain. Special SPF 1000 "Celtic Formula" in use of course.

I shot my first roll of slide film ever: Velvia 50 (RVP50). These were all shot on a Nikon F4 with a Nikkor 28-105 F3.4-4.5D, and metered to box speed. I must say, I really like this film. I was surprised at how sharp it is. I'm curious to get the slide back to see how they look in minature.

My notes on this roll are particularly poor. I know the date, the location, and the camera, but not the lens or what filter I was using.

I'd guess probably 28mm and an ND32 filter, based on the field of view and how bright I remember that day being. (But it might instead be a 50mm and ND4, based on the bokeh.)

Best shot (or one of the) from my latest roll. A lot of the roll didn't turn out the way I wanted, and I took some deliberately ugly shots, but this one turned out how I expected it to:

I have a roll of 35mm in my fridge and it will be my first. I want to get some in 120 for the 6x7. I need to invest in some graduated ND filters.

I got the actual slides back today, as well as the negatives from my test roll on my 67. Seeing how cool the slides look and the size of the 67 negative, yeah, I really want to shoot some Velvia through the 67.
