Amazing detail in those shots of yours. That last one looks like it was shot with a large format camera, definitely not 35mm!
I have an F4 and I have that same lens. Whew. I had no idea how sharp that lens is. I've just been using mine for piddling stuff. Guess I need to take it out and give it some proper exercise -- with some very good film, of course. I think I have one box of Velvia 50 left in my freezer.
Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. Living in Houston, however, I'm a good thousand miles away from anything that could seriously be called a mountain. Maybe I can find a picturesque bayou or something.
