Hey Jellygeist, what focal length lens did you use to take that shot of the power line tower? Reason why I ask is I have a few I took of one that was close to a house we lived in back in California. The lenses I used weren't lenses per se, they were telescopes. One was a Celestron 4" APO refractor -- about 1000mm. The other was a 10" Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain -- about 2600mm. The shots were . . . interesting.

It's the 105 2.4 on the Pentax 6X7 MLU. Slightly yellow from our friend thorium. Tri-X pushed to 1600.

I didn't post any of the info on what I used because I kind of think "Eh, does it matter, a shot is a shot?" Thanks for asking, though!

Or as I like to think of it: comes with a built-in yellow filter.

It is handy for that, though it's annoying when I shoot colour (which is 90% of the time) and I have to tweak it after so the whole frame doesn't look like it's jaundiced

I've pretty much relegated mine to only B&W for that reason. Though I've been wondering lately if I couldn't also use it to shoot some CineStill under non-tungsten lighting.

I put it under a UV light for like three weeks and it's a bit less yellow, so I hopefully I don't have to do as much colour tweaking as I've been doing. Given that I share a lot of my work digitally and won't be doing darkroom prints from my colour negs, it doesn't matter too much to me.

My 50/1.4 supertak has gradually cleared up in the ~15-years since I got it, so now it's pretty clear, and shows negligible effect on color film.

I doubt it's quite pronounced enough for that. Even with a warming filter, in cold light outdoor conditions I still get very blue looking frames. Might be a good choice *combined* with a warming in those types of settings.

Probably not, but I've got a roll that I really need to use up and the store gave me a card for free development on it, so I think I may give it a try.
