Still slowly working my way through shots I took during a work trip in April. This was the first time I shot Agfa CT Precisa slide film, and I'm not sure what I think. Everything shot with it seems somehow slightly vintage in a way that I enjoy more than Rollei's Variochrome (), but the slightly purplish tint to the blues isn't quite my thing.

Spotmatic II.
Probably a Tamron Adaptall-2 28/2.5. (I only had two m42 lenses with me, and this doesn't quite look like the 50/1.4.)
Agfa CT Precisa 100.

Kodak Ektar 100, 35mm film. I tend to mostly use Kodak series, I have handfuls of Fuji's 1600. Smattering of other brands and slide film (which I haven't used in 2 yrs).

An old hang-out of mine in Old Ballard. Some mention of gentrification above... there's hardly a spot on earth that's been hit as hard by it as old Ballard in Seattle. Only 1 or 2 hold-outs from blue-collar, scandanavian fishing days anymore, this being one of them. Every other place and most of the people have been priced-out for a good number of years now, including yours truly to a certain extent.

In the first one I love it how the old paneling everywhere, drooping in places, makes it so none of the geometry in the shot quite adds up... it isn't lens distortion, it's just how this old place is.

Here's another of my grandfather's slides. This one is Ektachrome, from somewhere in Yosemite, from August 1965. I don't recognize the location, so it could reversed. I'm only guessing, but I think this might have been taken with a Pentax S2.

Very cool!
I'd put lots of money on that being Mirror Lake with Half Dome on the right in the background. It's not reversed. (Was there last summer).

I'd say you're correct: https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_u8RzBC9dWv0/S_h52GcQRrI/AAAAAAAAC3M/vOJ_R5gunzE/s...irror+Lake.jpg

Hah - indeed.
Found this as well (not my image). Same spot.

I don't have many decent shots from mirror lake from last year. I was shooting a roll of VERY expired Kodak 160 Pro that day and I'd accidentally rated it 1 1/2 stops UP instead of down. :-/ Got some of them rescued in digital post, but most were an obvious bust. I'll dig one out.
