Montreal Excitement at Olympic Park

The tension is palpable...
Energy crackles invisibly...
It looks like the world's worst queue, but there's nothing to wait for...
Clusters of focused intensity, nothing exists outside of arm's length...
The original games decades past, forgotten by those aiming for the championship...

Or whatever it is you do in Pokemon Go...

Spotmatic, Super-Tak 28mm f3.5, Ilford XP-2
Probably at 1/1000 and f8 since it was sunny...

The dashed line was an airplane; that's a normal airline flight path over the area. The straight line, I think that's a satellite, but I don't know that for sure, and the short line was perhaps a shooting star. Those last two I'm not as positive about but seem the most likely.

I hope to take more like it. It's actually the second shot like that which I set up but with the first one the cable release lock slipped. This one I took with a cork and a rubber band and it worked pretty nicely.

Thanks, and agreed. You've been sharing some great photos the last couple pages.

phone zombies. We seem 'em in droves, staggering around the sidewalks and slumped over on the subway.
