I bought a roll of cinestill back in the fall and still haven't shot it... I guess winter just doesn't feel like cinestill 50 season...

I wouldn't want to touch film slower than 200 ISO in winter.

Yes the 50D only likes bright sunlight, forget overcast days! We had a nice stretch of sunny warm days in March, so it was an early start to the 50D "season". (I was also testing the lens wide open at f/1.8, so I needed slower film)

I usually don't touch film much in winter, but this winter has been an exception. Maybe because it was the longest winter or something like that

It's sunny enough in winter where I live that getting enough light on things isn't a problem.

It's freezing to death that is the problem, as well as trying to walk around and take pictures when the sidewalks are totally unnavigable.

There's always indoor shooting, I guess.
