It's freezing to death that is the problem, as well as trying to walk around and take pictures when the sidewalks are totally unnavigable.

There's always indoor shooting, I guess.
I always thought that Ottawa was not sunny in winter. Dreary, dark yes. Sunny - no. Until I spent a week in Moscow in late December... Didn't see sun once. It sort of gets somewhat bright around 9 am and 4 pm is the sunset and in between is dark heavy greyness...

I lived on PEI for a few years and the warmer winters were more than offset by the general gloom and ridiculous amount of snow. I mean, I like snow just fine, but not ten feet of it once a week for months and months.

The sunny days are usually the coldest out here, since any heat the ground absorbs can just escape back into the sky with nothing to trap it.

I was going to take some pictures today, but the wind is howling a gale and it's just not worth it.

Anybody ever used Kolor by Revolog? A friend of mine in Switzerland sent a roll to me for a project she is doing, and I've never used a gimmick film before. Kinda wanna see what flash will do to it.

It's been a while since I have used any film, so here's one from last year.

This is Lough Parkaflaherty in Co. Galway, Ireland.

Pentax z70, probably with a Sigma 35-70 AF Zoom Master at the wide end. Ilford HP5+ developed and scanned by Ilford, UK. Cropped, scaled and sharpened in Affinity.

Now isn't that something: My Dad flew Canadian Harvards in Alberta in the late fifties as a flight school attendant ... graduated on the T-bird before going back to the Royal Danish Air Force as a fighter pilot. I'll have to ask him, if he flew at Penhold. I seem to remember the place was called something with 'Lake' in the name, though! Great photo!
