I'll get him on the horn, maybe he'll buy a print.

That is an attractive picture, but I don't think the WA lens distortion does it any favours when it becomes obvious. Perhaps 24mm?

Thanks Arnold. It was a free roll of a decade expired negative film, so I shot the whole roll with the 16mm fisheye just for fun. Trust me, that's not the lens I would have used if it had been a fresh roll of Velvia.

IIRC, @Rense did one of his "Single-in" challenge months with the Zenitar 16/2.8 Fisheye. Amazing is the first thing that comes to my mind...

Granted, I believe all of the above were on APS-C, but I own a copy and even on 35mm film, it is a more versatile lens than one would initially think. As with any lens, taking care with framing pays a dividend.

Had a July 2004 dated 'BOOTS 400' loaded for a while in the second Asahi Pentax Spotmatic-F from about 1974 donated to me .I home-processed the film in C41. Here i saw this on the gate of Brentwood Post Sorting Office yard. 105mm f2.8 Super-Takumar given with camera 1/500th @ f6.3 -- Neg was 'THIN' i think the 1/500th is not accurate, same as the 1/1000th.
